Jaxson Brody Flowers graced us with his presence on December 29, 2008 at 11:53pm. He weighed 6lbs and 4 oz and measured at 18 1/4 inches long. He came at 36 weeks, but is healthy and a growing boy! Labor went well due to the epidural! I went into Labor & Delivery at 4pm at 4 cm dilated. I pushed for 2 hours and finally had help with the vacuum to bring our sweet little boy into the world! All the hours of contractions (8 weeks worth) was worth it to have him here!Our wonderful doctor was by our side the whole time and we were all so happy to see that he was healthy. The little stinker came after all of our family just left- just as we predicted!!
To help him get over his jaundice, he was our "little glow worm" for 2 days as they had him under special lights. We had our first pediatrician appointment and he is perfect! He is a very calm baby and is only fussy when he is hungry, we are so lucky and hope it stays that way!! Duane and I are doing well too, VERY TIRED but that is to be expected!! We're delirious, but so happy!
We are thrilled that we never had to visit the NICU and that he came out healthy after the long journey we've been on! Thank you for all the prayers, phone calls, and visits. God has truly blessed our family and we are blissfully happy right now!

Congratulations!! He is so beautiful! We can't wait to meet Jaxson. We are so happy for your new family. The next few months are so tiring, but so precious! Enjoy every moment even the middle of the night feedings because it goes so fast. I can't believe Addison will be 2 months old this week. Love to you all! Can't wait to see more pics of your little guy!
Congrats to the new family! Jaxson is so cute. I'm so glad that he is healthy and that he got to go home with ya'll. I am proud of you Kelin for hanging in there. Cherish every moment and take tons of pictures, as I am sure you will. They grow so fast. Can't wait for our boys to meet!!

OMG I was so excited to hear that all came along very sucessful. I sure wished you could of seen Kallen's face when I picked him up from school with her eyes so big and so loud of excitement telling me "MOMMA I have GREAAATTTTT news. Mrs. Flowers had baby "J" on December 29th. I don't have much more information my teacher is okay and her son is healthy." I think he has been more of a supporter than many in the class. LOL I am so glad you and Duane. All the comments are true, take lots of pictures, treasure every single minute you have. Cherish is all, those will be the best minutes of your life. Children do grow so fast(crying). Wow my kids are grown.
